DLS Cookie Consent Lite 1.2.4

Consent banner, accept/reject choices, consent per provider, prior blocking of configured services, strict network policy, cookie/storage cleanup, withdrawal and the JavaScript/PHP API. Design customisation and advanced request-rule options marked “(Pro)” require Pro. Configure and test each integration; installing the plugin alone does not configure third-party services.

Back up your site, then install the complete Lite package ZIP under System → Install → Extensions. Do not extract and install its child extensions separately. Follow the setup steps below using the available Lite fields. Fields labelled “(Pro)” remain visible and read-only.

Lite updates and upgrading to Pro

Check System → Update → Extensions. Lite updates are free and need no download key. The installer registers the Lite update feed automatically.

To upgrade, back up your site and install the Pro ZIP over Lite without uninstalling Lite first. Existing content and settings are kept; the installer replaces the Lite package registration and update site. Configure the Pro download key afterwards. Installing Lite over an existing Pro installation is refused.

Individuelle Gestaltung und mit „(Pro)“ markierte erweiterte Anfrageregeln gibt es in Pro. Jede Integration muss eingerichtet und getestet werden; die Installation allein konfiguriert keine Drittanbieter-Dienste.

Sichere die Website und installiere die vollständige Lite-Paket-ZIP unter System → Installieren → Erweiterungen. Die enthaltenen Erweiterungen nicht einzeln entpacken und installieren. Richte anschließend die verfügbaren Lite-Felder nach der Anleitung unten ein. Mit „(Pro)“ markierte Felder bleiben sichtbar und schreibgeschützt.

Lite-Updates und Wechsel zu Pro

Suche unter System → Aktualisieren → Erweiterungen nach Updates. Lite-Updates sind kostenlos und benötigen keinen Download-Key. Der Installer registriert den Lite-Update-Feed automatisch.

Für den Wechsel zu Pro sicherst du die Website und installierst die Pro-ZIP über Lite, ohne Lite vorher zu deinstallieren. Inhalte und Einstellungen bleiben erhalten; der Installer ersetzt den Lite-Paketeintrag und die Update-Seite. Anschließend den Pro-Download-Key eintragen. Lite lässt sich nicht über eine vorhandene Pro-Installation installieren.

Installation and setup

Version 1.2.4. Requires Joomla 6.x, PHP 8.3+ and the PHP DOM extension.

1. Back up your site and install the Lite package ZIP or purchased Pro ZIP under System → Install → Extensions. Installation leaves the plugin disabled.
2. Open System → Manage → Plugins → DLS Cookie Consent.
3. Set the operator, privacy and imprint paths, and optional providers. Leave providers empty when no optional services are used.
4. Keep strict network blocking enabled. Set Public access and place the plugin first among system plugins. Configure every optional integration, then enable the plugin.
5. Clear Joomla, CDN and browser caches. Configure proxies and CDNs to respect private, no-store responses.
6. On staging, test a fresh visit, rejection, individual consent, acceptance and withdrawal in both languages and on mobile. Inspect actual network requests and cookies for every integration.

Integration

Declare each provider and its required hosts. Gate complete integrations, including initializers and server-side requests. First-party resource rules and inline markers match server-rendered HTML; dynamic scripts and separate endpoints need explicit integration. Follow the README.md included in the installation ZIP for templates, JavaScript events, the PHP consent API and protected request rules.

Without optional providers, the plugin can show an informational notice. With providers, optional services start unchecked. Classification, provider disclosures and deployment-specific integration remain the site operator's responsibility.

Pro updates / Pro-Updates

Open the protected link in your purchase email, copy your Joomla download key and enter it under System → Update Sites → DLS Cookie Consent Updates → Download Key. Keep the key private. Then check System → Update → Extensions. You can also install a newer purchased ZIP manually; back up your site first.

1. Website sichern und die Lite-Paket-ZIP oder gekaufte Pro-ZIP unter System → Installieren → Erweiterungen installieren. Das Plugin bleibt zunächst deaktiviert.
2. Unter System → Verwalten → Plugins den Eintrag DLS Cookie Consent öffnen.
3. Betreiber, Datenschutz- und Impressumspfade sowie optionale Anbieter eintragen. Ohne optionale Dienste die Anbieterliste leer lassen.
4. Strikte Netzwerkblockierung eingeschaltet lassen. Öffentlichen Zugriff wählen und das Plugin vor anderen System-Plugins einordnen. Alle optionalen Integrationen konfigurieren, dann aktivieren.
5. Joomla-, CDN- und Browsercache leeren. Proxys und CDNs müssen private, no-store beachten.
6. Auf einer Testseite Erstbesuch, Ablehnen, individuelle Zustimmung, Akzeptieren und Widerruf in beiden Sprachen und mobil testen. Netzwerkaufrufe und Cookies jeder Integration prüfen.

Integration

Jeden Anbieter mit den benötigten Hosts eintragen. Vollständige Integrationen einschließlich Initialisierung und serverseitiger Anfragen absichern. Regeln für lokale Ressourcen und Inline-Marker erfassen serverseitig erzeugtes HTML; dynamische Skripte und separate Endpunkte müssen ausdrücklich integriert werden. Die README.md im Installationspaket beschreibt Templates, JavaScript-Ereignisse, die PHP-Consent-API und geschützte Anfragen.

Ohne optionale Anbieter kann ein Informationshinweis erscheinen. Mit Anbietern sind optionale Dienste zunächst abgewählt. Einstufung, Anbieterangaben und die konkrete Integration liegen beim Websitebetreiber.

Pro updates / Pro-Updates

Öffne den geschützten Link aus deiner Kauf-E-Mail und kopiere den Joomla-Download-Key. Trage ihn unter System → Update-Seiten → DLS Cookie Consent Updates → Download-Key ein. Halte ihn geheim und suche anschließend nach Erweiterungsupdates. Alternativ kannst du eine neuere gekaufte ZIP manuell installieren. Erstelle vorher ein Backup.
