Project in detail

radkettos.com

Club website with an internal social network: profiles, private messages, posts and a blog.

  • Service Club website / Community portal
  • Tools / technologies Responsive web design, member area, profiles, messaging, posts, blog
  • Outcome / benefit A public club presence and internal communication on one shared platform.

For Radkettos, I combined a public cycling club website with an internal social network. Member profiles, private messages, posts and a blog give the club a place to present itself and its members a space to stay in touch.

Starting point

The project brings together two needs: introducing Radkettos to visitors and supporting communication within the club. The public website and the internal member area form two parts of the same platform.

Key requirements

  • A distinctive website that reflects the cycling club
  • A separate area for interaction between members
  • Personal profiles and private messaging
  • Posts for sharing updates and a blog for longer articles
  • A consistent experience across desktop and mobile

Implemented features

Club website

A public introduction to Radkettos with its own visual identity and clear navigation.

Member profiles

Personal profiles give members a presence within the network and help them get to know one another.

Private messages

Members can contact each other directly without sharing the conversation with the whole community.

Posts

A place to share updates, experiences and topics with other members.

Blog

Space for longer stories and articles that go beyond a short post.

A website for an active community

The result combines the club’s public presence with features for everyday interaction. Members have their own profiles, can share posts and can choose private messages for direct conversations. The blog adds room for more detailed content.

This project shows how a club website can also support the community behind it. The same approach can suit associations and other groups that need a dedicated member area alongside their public website.
